Here is a screen shot from the movie “Heartworn Highways” in which Townes van Zandt plays his classic song “Pancho and Leftie” – the song he says he wrote about two Mexican bandits two weeks before he saw the story about them on TV. During the song his friend the farrier Seymour Washington gets choked up.
